My mission is to provide a learning environment that will consider the academic, social, and emotional well-being of my students. Click here for our classroom rules.

Students need to bring a peechee and a bag to school daily. I have marked the peechee with the word Keep on one side and Return on the other side. Things in the return side either require a parent signature or it is homework.

In addition to the Take Home Reading program, students have a written assignment each Thursday. A list of Spelling words go home at the beginning of each week. The written test is Friday. You should have received Sharing rules and our Friday Sharing schedule during conference week.

Currently, Mrs. Youngquist' class and my class are involved in a unit on taking care of our earth. One of our environmental themes is Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

 

Our class has been reading lots of books. Between the Take Home Reading books and the books read and recorded in our classroom reading logs, we have read over 500 books.
